in the meantime I use version 2.1.3.
Hi, You can change the date format in Timeline Settings (the cog icon) under the Range->Date tab, under Date Formatting. Jess
[Sss](//muut.com/u/aeontimeline/s1/:aeontimeline:PYlI:sss.jpg.jpg) As the picture shows, there is no submenu in the form of data formating.
Can not lift the day do not know correctly?
ali_00, Look down a little more to the *third* set of options - underneath 'Zoom Limits' - as in this screen capture… [Screen Shot 2019-03-05 at 06](//muut.com/u/aeontimeline/s2/:aeontimeline:hB2R:screenshot20190305at06.40.56.png.jpg)
I'm down but it doesn't show up. Could it really be because of the version? It looks in 2.3.16, but it doesn't appear in 2.1.3.
And we can't take the day, can we?
I'm on 2.3.16, so it's possible, though I'd have thought it unlikely. Yes, you can certainly remove the day.
this page has a list of changes: https://www.aeontimeline.com/release-notes
hımm how am I going to remove day? because I read in this blog that I can't eliminate the day.
If the version which you are using really doesn't allow the date format you want, maybe you should consider getting the latest version. Good luck!
I updated. But can I remove the day in this version?
If you use the third set of settings under 'Zoom Limits' you can change the settings, Yes. Also single click on the little calendar icon for an event in its Inspector and chose 'Year Only'
[Aaa](//muut.com/u/aeontimeline/s1/:aeontimeline:8JIT:aaa.jpg.jpg) yes I can get there. I want to write history in the form of 05/03/2019 not only years. I don't want that its day writing. But even when I choose a short date, it writes the day.
If you check Month + Year only (the right hand option for an even in that calendar), and then click on the month you want, leaving the day untouched, you will get, say, 'March 2019'
thank you
Did it work for you, Ali?
Partially. I understand that I can't do exactly what I want. So 8.03.2019 does not happen. At best I can just write the day with the bear and the number.
Ali - if you still can't get exactly the date format which you want, have you thought about submitting a feature request for it in a future release? Good luck!
yes I thought :) thank you
