You should be able to see the ages if you group by character.
Hi Craig, Thank you for your answer. How do I group by character ? (I think I didn't use Aeon in the right way :( )
By clicking on this pulldown menu. [AT](//muut.com/u/aeontimeline/s2/:aeontimeline:4MpT:at.jpg.jpg)
Like I said in my 1st post, I don't have the last version of Aeon Timeline, so I don't have this icon :(
You should be able to group by character regardless of your version. And why don't you upgrade to the current version anyway?
Or are you saying you're on Aeon Timeline 1?
@Craig : because I didn't use AT for months. And the "check for updates" says : "Aeon Timeline 1.2.16 is currently the newest version available." I suppose the version 2.3.16 for Mac is to buy ? @27m : yes, I have the version 1.2.16
Okay, you're on a Mac and I'm on a PC. You should definitely be able to group by character, even if it's not exactly where I showed it.
Hi, If you are on version 1.2.16, then you can't group by character to see ages displayed on the timeline like in the picture you posted. This was introduced in version 2. You can see ages on version 1.2.16 if you open relationship view (the right icon with a person under View Mode heading) In version 1, this will display the relationships between your entities and events on the timeline, and if your entities have birth dates, then ages will be displayed on the intersections. Yes you need to buy a new license for version 2. If you wish to upgrade at any point, if you email us as email@example.com, then we can let you know if their are any discounts available at the time. Hello, Thank you @aeonjess ! I have the age, now :)) I'm not sure to buy AT 2, because I don't like the interface. But I try it for the moment, and I will see. Otherwise, where I can have tutorials on Aeon Timeline 1 ? Because I did not find anything :( Have a good day ;)
Hi, You can access the manual for Aeon Timeline 1 within the Help menu in the program, or you can download them from our support page here: https://help.aeontimeline.com/article/81-version-1-support Jess
Thank you very much !
