I have many different characters and arcs and it is very helpful to compare eg. where one character is living when another event is taking place in another arc. Or what news events alongside other events. In the normal view I can filter out everything but two arcs, but there is really too much going on. My preferred way is to group by arc and then collapse all the arcs that I dont want to see, BUT one of the arcs has a lot of events and therefore the panel is very tall. the other arc falls below the screen in most areas. is there a way to make the panel a smaller height - it auto expands depending on the height the events take up. In short, I want to see compare different arcs all the time, but this problem makes it too difficult to compare. any ideas

Unfortunately there is no way to do this at the moment. You can change the overall size of the display in Display Settings (the paintbrush icon), so the events will be smaller and more would fit on the screen, however this wouldn't exactly be what you are looking for, and would still be a problem if you have lots of events.
We are looking at different ways to compare arcs in a future version which should help with this issue.

thanks, that would be great as thats the number one thing I need to do - see whats happening in one timeline when an event is happening and you cant see them side by side if the window is too tall.
