Clarification on consecutive, dependent events

Hi, I've read the steps above a number of times but I'm not clear on something to do with making consecutive, dependant events. I have made two events. Event A is (an estimated) 4 weeks in duration and Event B is 1 day. Event A will occur and then event B will occur. I have not purposely set dates for Event B because it simply occurs when Event A finishes. Therefore, Event B should have an offset of 0 from the end of Event A (as far as I understand the software.) I select both events, then Make Consecutive (no dates change) and then Make Dependant (No dates change and I get a dependency connection line. The problem is, Event B SHOULD have moved to occur at the end of Event A. I realize I may be doing something incorrectly in the use of the application, but as far as I can tell I am following the instructions laid out above and what I want to have happen is not happening. Might you be able to advise? Thanks!

Hi, Thanks for bringing this to our attention, it sounds like you are using the software correctly. We will try to reproduce the behaviour on our end to fix the problem. In the meantime, have you tried selecting Event B, and adding the offset via Range tab on the Inspector. Click on the green plus next to "Based on" and you can add the event/offset that you want. Let us know if this also does not change the dates of Event B in your scenario. Jess
