Is there any way to fix an event in place so it can't be moved?

This is a different type of dependency I know but I really need to be able to fix certain dates so they can't be accidentally moved. They are fixed points in history.

I also have this question. Within the AT2 data files, there is an event property named "LockedInPlace". All of my events have a value of zero for this property. I assumed this is a binary value, but if I set it to 1 for an event it does not seem to have any effect. I can still drag the event in the timeline. Nor does there seem to be anything in the GUI which is related to this property. Similarly, there is an event property named "Priority" which always seems to be set to 500 with no corresponding GUI element. Are these vestigial?

As an aside, any idea why we're seeing so many double and triple posts in the forum lately?

Hi, At the moment there is no way to lock events in place, however it is on our list of something to add in the future, hence why there is a property "LockedInPlace" in the data file - it doesn't do anything at the moment, but was implemented in the knowledge that we will be using it in the future.
