Can't get filter to work

v2.0.8 When I create a filter nothing happens. I may be doing something completely foolish. Here's what I am doing: 1. I click to make the filter bar slide into view at the top of the timeline. 2. I click where it says "Click to add filter" 3. I click and select a field, then click and select a value. Nothing happens at this point. (Examples of both wanted and unwanted items are still visible on the timeline.) I tried hitting Enter, but that doesn't do anything either. This happens in all my timelines and regardless of whether I'm trying to filter by project, colour, etc. I can't believe this feature has simply broken (for one thing, I haven't seen any other posts on the subject) but can't think what I'm doing wrong. Please help!

Did you click the small plus sign at the right side of the field?

Thanks Steve - that must have been where I was going wrong. A bit counter-intuitive to have to click plus after already clicking add... I think my subconscious just blanked it out assuming it was a symbol meaning "You are adding something right now". Happy camper now. Thanks again.

After bringing up the filter bar, and clicking into the Add filter field, then selecting Has, Character, Character Name, you have to click the plus sign as Stevecarter suggested. I came across this as well, maybe the plus sign should be green as is the Based On plus sign, so that it stands out more as a needed action instead of the greyed out plus sign it is. Win 10 Pro x64 with 2.1.2 Aeon Timeline 2. I also came across a bug, after clicking as I mentioned before, and then clicking again to select Has/Or and choosing Character, and Character Name, then pressing the X button in this field, it does not give the option to add the field Chooser again.

Never mind about that bug, apparently the bug is that it was supposed to clear both filters on the line, not just the single filter choice. And I can't reproduce it atm.
