I'm having trouble producing a high resolution file for professional printing (PhD thesis!). How can I export at a sufficient resolution for print, on a Mac (OS 10.11.6). I need a high res JPG for InDesign layout. I can only get the low res PNG or PDF. Thanks!

Hi, At the moment there is not way to export to high res JPEGs. However if you want an image with the highest resolution possible then before you export set the size to the maximum of 150% (This is done in the Display Settings menu). This will give you the highest resolution possible for image export. Jess

Thanks Jess. Can I export a high res PDF or other file format? If so, how?

Hi, I'm not sure exactly what you mean by high res PDF, as my understanding is that PDFs do not have a resolution, but you can export to PDF by using the File->Export->Image/PDF menu. Image and PDF are the two formats that you can export to for printing purposes, our other export formats are to do with loading/saving data in text format. Jess
