Perhaps if you describe exactly what you are doing we could try to help you. It's hard to guess.

Sorry I typed thinking all knew what I was doing. I am trying to sync my Aeon timeline with my scrivener project. So far I have followed the instructions in Aeon manual but then when I open my project in Scrivener the custom Meta data is still blank.

Okay, lets take this step by step. 1. Have you set up all of your desired fields in the Project Sync Settings dialog box? 2. Did you then sync your Aeon project to the Scrivener file? 3. If yes, did everything show as synced? 4. Did you then save the Aeon timeline?

Hi, Craig's questions are a good place to start. The first thing to check would be that for the properties you want to create custom metadata for you have selected "New Custom Field" in the Project Sync Settings. If you then sync a Scrivener document to an Aeon Timeline event (there should be a green tick next to the document in the binder), and the custom metadata fields are still not appearing in Scrivener, you can contact us further at support@aeontimeline.com and send through your timeline and Scrivener project, which will help us get to the bottom of the problem. I think just by reading both of the answers (thank you by the way) the problem is in the sync settings I I didn't select New Custom Field in the Project Sync Settings. something so simple I overlooked . May I thank you both all sorted. A happy man signs off.
