Hi, I replied to your email, but in case others are having this problem, you need to have a timeline file open before you can choose a Scrivener project to sync to. Jess
I have a timeline file open and am still not able to sync scrivener files, they remain greyed out as the OP mentions. I read that the scrivener folderss need to be closed in order to sync (not sure that's true). still, they are greyed out. Please help. That video, the one in the help section that mentions syncing scrivener, needs renamed. Thanks.
Hi, Yes your Scrivener project needs to be closed before you sync to in, but that shouldn't cause the Scrivener files to be greyed out when you are selecting what to sync to. What operating system are you using? Are you able to either post a screenshot or email one to email@example.com to show the problem? Jess
Jess- I am having the same problem which you addressed but did not solve in a 2017 chat: https://muut.com/aeontimeline#!/aeontimeline/support/scrivener-syncing:syncsettings-window-doesn
My project synced the first time beautifully. Now I would like update the sync. When I try to choose the project from the sync menu, regardless of whether Scrivener and/or the project are open, the project is greyed out. picture attached [Screen Shot 2020-07-03 at 8](//muut.com/u/aeontimeline/s3/:aeontimeline:NoUZ:screenshot20200703at8.38.43am.png.jpg)
Thank you for your help trouble shooting. CG
Hi, Just to clarify, is your screenshot from when you are going Sync->Choose Project->Scrivener? If so, you should be looking for your Scrivener project that you want to sync to, but the only files listed that are greyed out are Aeon Timeline files. If you navigate to where your Scrivener project is located, you should be able to select it. Jess
Thank you for looking at my screen shots and replying. Very helpful. With Scrivener closed, I was able to choose the project from the Scrivener files. The binder updated in Aeon. Aeon is a terrific resource. Carolyn
