Flattened view for consecutive events

Caveat: it's possible I'm missing something really obvious, so if there's a way to achieve this I'm all ears! There are circumstances where it would be nice to be able to flatten a parent event and see it reflect in some form the divisions of the events it contains. When tracking the reigns of monarchs during a period of frequent succession, for instance, I'm find myself stuck between the collapsed parent thread, "Monarchs", which contains no useful information, and a 20 line expanded version that makes it hard to judge which events in the rest of the time intersect with each reign. What I would love is either that the parent bar show these divisions, or for some view state to be added between Expanded and Collapsed that places non-overlapping events on a single line.

Hi, Unfortunately there is no way to do this at the moment, however we are looking at ways to improve this functionality in the future. If you wish to, you can send through an example to support@aeontimeline.com (it doesn't need to be your whole timeline, just part of it), and we can use it to get a better idea on how to improve this situation.
