Grouping entities

Hi, Is it possible to group entities? I know I can simulate that by using tags, but is there a way to do that directly? Having a great time with Aeontimeline. This week I used it to solve a major headache at work.

Yup. In the upper right of the screen is an icon with 4 horizontal bars. Click it and select the entity you wish to group on.

Sorry, I was't clear. I meant can you create higher level entities that contain other entities. So I have a list of individual team members: could I also group them into a different entity called Team X or Team Y. Then when I group events by teams I could look at the events for the whole of Team X and also expand that to see the events broken down by individual members of that team.

As a short term suggestion, how about using tags for this? You can create a tag for each team then use filters to be inclusive/exclusive in your views.

Sorry, not paying attention I guess. You already mentioned tags.

Hi, It isn't possible to have hierarchical entities at the moment, but we will put it on our list of something to consider in the future. Jess
